General Description
The site of an ancient hill fort. This large grass covered hill has a norteasterly-facing slope that has been quarried in the past.
Access Notes
Follow the map. Park off the track, just past the cottage, beside the gate marked `Public Bridleway' (max 3 cars) or continue up the rutted track (4x4 recommended) for a further 400m and park off the track next to the gate (max 3 cars).
Safety
The northeasterly slope is peppered with rocks and boulders. Bear this in mind if attempting a slope landing in the summer months when they can become obscured by thigh-high bracken. If top landing avoid the stone remains of the hill fort.
